This paper explores how digital trade has reshaped India's economic and technological landscape in the post-pandemic data-driven economy. The COVID-19 crisis accelerated the adoption of digital platforms, fostering resilience across key sectors such as finance, e-commerce and IT-enabled services. Through detailed case studies on UPI-based digital payments, e-commerce expansion and IT-BPM exports, this study highlights how India leveraged technology and data innovation to maintain economic stability, promote inclusion and sustain growth. The findings emphasize the transformative potential of digital trade as both an engine of economic recovery and a driver of long-term digital empowerment in India's evolving trade ecosystem.
